Our Work & Impact

Meeting today's needs. Building tomorrow's workforce.

Three-Pillar Model

Wellness Over Everything operates through an innovative three-pillar approach that addresses immediate mental health needs while building and sustaining a diverse mental health workforce for the future.

Free Therapy Services

Accessible, affirming care where it's needed most

Clinical Training Pipeline

Empowering the next generation of helping professionals

Workforce Retention Supports

Sustaining care through clinical mentorship and opportunity

Pillar 1: Free Therapy Services

Accessible, affirming care where it's needed most

We provide mental health services at no cost in school and community settings, removing barriers that often prevent people from receiving timely support. Our therapy approach is trauma-informed, relationship-centered, and rooted in cultural humility.

By embedding services where people live, learn, and work, we offer care that is relevant, responsive, and easy to access.

Who Benefits:

  • Students navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, or academic stress
  • Families seeking mental health care without cost or stigma
  • Educators and school staff in need of mental health and wellness services

Pillar 2: Clinical Training Pipeline

Empowering the next generation of helping professionals

We offer paid internships, structured supervision, and licensure support for graduate students pursuing careers in mental health. Our focus is on supporting future clinicians who are often underrepresented in the field, particularly those who identify as BIPOC or male.

Our clinical placements are not just about accruing hours or checking boxes. We provide hands-on learning, clinical mentorship, and professional development. We support and push growing with intention, learning in context, and building a professional identity rooted in service.

Who Benefits:

  • Graduate students seeking meaningful field placements with strong clinical mentorship
  • Academic institutions looking to place students in mission-aligned internships
  • Schools that welcome well-trained interns to support their students and staff

Pillar 3: Workforce Retention Supports

Sustaining care through clinical mentorship and opportunity

We don’t just prepare future clinicians; we walk with them beyond graduation. Our retention initiatives include long-term clinical mentorship, professional development, leadership training, and job placement pathways. Our goal is to reduce burnout, increase stability, and create spaces where new clinicians can thrive without leaving community-based work for financial or systemic reasons.

We are building a workforce that grows with its community, not away from it.

Who Benefits:

  • Early-career clinicians committed to staying in community-based roles
  • Community agencies looking to grow with committed, well-supported professionals
  • Neighborhoods seeking consistent, compassionate care from trusted providers
